The next generation 2017 Kia Rio is spied for a road test under heavy camouflage. The dirt roads, dessert heat, and differing roads surfaces are used by Kia to test the new car in the US on the California Proving Grounds. Kia also conduct winter tests in Arjeplog, Sweden at COLMIS Proving ground in the far reaches of the cold to test their vehicles. Both extreme temperatures tests will ensure the car will keep durable on both conditions.
2017 Kia Rio Interior Design And Exterior Styling
The interior design is new with sportier new steering wheel design. The higher end Forte and Optima models lend their digital display panel on the center dash. The air conditioner ducting is also changed. At the front of 2017 Kia Rio, there is a new headlight display pairing turn signaling mounted on the side mirrors. The side mirrors are repositioned so they are higher and forward from the side window replacing the additional small window from the previous models.
The new 2017 Kia Rio comes in 3 different trim levels and each has its own features. You can have trim level with a shark fin antenna and another model can have a different set of wheels. The last model comes standard with HID lights. The trim levels are the LX, the EX, and the SX. The bumper design is revised complementing the fog lights that are relocated so they are higher than those of the previous model. At the back, the previous rear twist beam suspension design is the same with that of the Kia Soul and Forte.
2017 Kia Rio Engine
There is no information regarding the engine but you can expect to see the same 1.6 GDi motor from the predecessor due to the muffler shape and location. Transmission option could be the same but it is possible the 2017 Kia Rio will get the latest technology.
