2017 Lamborghini Urus SUV Review

2017 Lamborghini Urus is the brand new SUV model from the Italian carmaker. The name urus or the aurochs is an early ancestor of the current cow, which went wiped out in 1627. Aurochs are huge with 71 inches tall and 1,500 pounds of weight making it one of the largest bulls. Hopefully, the Lamborghini Urus won’t share the same result with the bull by end up before starting to boast such as the original Lamborghini SUV LM002 that was only produced 328 models before it was stopped in 1993.

The Urus has distinct styling as a Lamborghini the aggressive styling and sharp angles. The Aventador inspires most of the Urus’ styling but at larger scale with the typical Lamborghini’s frontward-pointing arrow design. The headlights are LED bulbs and create the Y shape but are slightly smaller than the Aventador. The Aventador’s intake cutouts are resembled from the Urus’ front bumper’s huge air intake cutouts. There is a very slight, but obvious, double bulge feature from roof line of 2017 Lamborghini Urus. Stylized taillights and hard angles are boasted by the signature Lamborghini with a slim rooftop spoiler and roof line that sweeps to the rear. 24-inch double-spoke rims are a massive set for wheel made of aluminum with matte finishes.

The Urus will be powered by 4.0 liters twin-turbocharged V8 unlike most of the current Lamborghini model that come with V10 and V12 naturally aspirated engines. Lamborghini itself will develop the powertrain not from Audi. The engine of RS6 and RS7 can put out 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The SUV will be lighter than any of its rivals and could hit below 4 seconds to reach 60 mph from zero. Enthusiasts can expect to see the reveal of 2017 Lamborghini Urus at the 2018 Geneva motor show.
