Planned to compete with Land Rover’s supreme, 2017 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is upcoming ultra plush SUV from the FCA as the revival of the old Grand Wagoneer. Some of the design signs include the iconic Grand Wagoneer hood and famous seven-slot grille. There are three rows of seats and Suburban -sized dimensions behind the A-pillar of the SUV. But, you won’t see much more the retro styling that comes from the woody version from the original.
2017 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Performance
There is a huge power under the skin of the Grand Wagoneer including a Hemi V-8 and popular EcoDiesel option. Expect to see the usual ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2017 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will come with some engine options including 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 that boost 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. It returns fuel economy at 30 mpg highway. The standard engine could be the powerful 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 that generates around 500 hp but the torque has not been announced yet. The Grand Wagoneer could shares the same all-new unibody chassis to the new Grand Cherokee and Durango that can accommodate either 2 or 3 rows of seats with different wheelbase distance.

Interior quality is the one Jeep need to focus In order to compete with Range Rover. In terms of fit and finish, there are more Jeep offers in the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the past and the company should bring better interior for the new Grand Wagoneer. Expect to see open-aperture wood trim, generous leather all over the surface, as well as lots of advanced technology, from safety to entertainment systems. The Grand Wagoneer is expected to be unveiled at mid 2016 and should be available for sale in the 2017 model year.
