The new Aegea will come with two engine options, a 1.4-liter T-Jet gasoline engine and a 1.3-liter Multijet diesel engine. The manual is the standard transmission while automatic is optional. The two diesel models come in 95 PS and 120 PS variants. Fuel economy is rated at 25 km/l. The 2017 Fiat Aegea will be available for European and American market. The horsepower of the engines are unknown, but it should be stronger than the previous model but offer more efficient performance.

The new 2017 Fiat Aegea will ride on a new platform that will increase its dimension with 178 cm width, 450 cm length, and 148 cm height as well as 264 cm wheelbase distance. This means there will be an increased of cabin space inside. Aegea can seat five adult people and about 510-liter cargo space. The standard equipment and comfort include a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment center with the Uconnect navigation system, premium sound system, USB ports, iPod compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, voice command, and steering wheel with audio controls and a rearview camera.

Fiat has officially announced the release date and price, but it is estimated that it will start from $19,000 to $28,000 based on the engine options and trim levels.  Expect to see the 2017 Fiat Aegea at the dealership in November 2016.
