A fully redesigned 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty should be released in the second half of 2017 by Ford carmaker. In recent years, there are big changes made by Ford for its lineups. Last year, Ford has started the redesign toward its whole line of full-size trucks. Last year is the release for the F-150 light duty truck while the F-250 and F-350 models come this year. Debuted in 1999 the new F450 will receive major changes including the latest technology addition. The complete redesigns include new exterior, platform, interior design, and superior powertrain.
2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty Exterior
This new model will share the same design styling with the new 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty meaning all aspects feature new technologies. High-strength-steel will be used 95 percent for the frame while aluminum is used for the body. Trucks overall performances will be increased from the weight reduction due to the used of this lightweight material. The appearance will also be completely new for inside and out. The tinier F-350 and F-250 pickups will likely lend most of design styling especially for the front end look. High technologies will also be abundant in 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty such as a 360-degree camera system that helps towing process due to its bird’s-eye view of the truck.
2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty Powertrain
Compared to the previous model, the same engine options will be the same with the previous Ford F-450 Super Duty model though power will slightly receive improvements. It remains unknown for the exact figures. A 6.7 liter turbocharged diesel engine on the previous model can generate 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of torque so the new model could puts out more. The gasoline engine 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty model will use a 6.2 liter V8 which the previous version can boost 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque.
