2017 VW Tiguan-TDR is a new larger SUV from VW that will be into production as addition to Tiguan family. The next few months will be the estimated launching for the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan. The second-generation Tiguan will get additional models into its SUV lineup. VW has developed Tiguan into a sub-brand and now they want to build it. This means Tiguan will not only come in SUV body style but also coupe.
2017 VW Tiguan-TDR Exterior
In 2017, a larger seven-seat version of the 2017 VW Tiguan-TDR will be released. It will have a bit larger dimensions and longer wheelbase. The MQB A2 platform will be the base for the car similar to the upcoming Skoda Kodiak. It will likely be manufactured in Mexico and China. The 2017 Tiguan SUV will also be used as the base for a new five-door coupe. The same MQB platform used in the coupe will lead to the same wheelbase. The Tiguan Coupe will focus more on the road unlike the SUV model due to the lack of off-road capabilities. But, it will be equipped with reliable performance road features.
2017 VW Tiguan-TDR Release Date
In this April 2016, you should be able to see the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV at the dealership and buy it on early 2017 while the large Tiguan Coupe and SUV are planned to be released in the next few years. The pricing list has not confirmed yet but it should not be too pricier than the previous models. The 5 door coupe should give great competition against Mazda CX-5 and Range Rover Evoque. These new models are highly expected to be able to give success to Volkswagen similar to the first generation model that becomes one of popular SUV throughout the globe.
