2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR gets some changes two years after its introduction. However, design updates are minimal with slight changes to the design styling. It comes with unchanged body panel. But, at the front area, there are plenty of updates on the air intakes on the front bumpers. It seems, the Sport SVR’s powertrain is the one that will get major change. Updates will make slight impact to the price tag with $1,500 price hike.
2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR Engine
A 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 is the current engine of the Sport SVR similar to the Jaguar F-Type SVR that boost 550 hp and 502 pound-feet of torque. The 2017 model will get its engine refreshed that could put out additional 17 hp or generating a total 567 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque. 2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR could hit four seconds to reach 60 mph from zero.
2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR Interior
It seems there will be a modest update for the Interior. There will be new trim and new leather upholstery including the newest JLR’s infotainment system offered. The current interior will remain unchanged overall since there is no major change. You can also expect to see a larger touch screen. This minor change is because the 2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR has just entered the second cycle after its 2015 model year debuted.

Slight updates on the outside include the large air vents at either end of the bumper while lower fascia and front grille is carried over from the current Range Rover Sport SVR. The current Sport SVR also lends the rear end for the new model’s tail area. It seems there will be new colors or some updated trim pieces for the 2017 LR Range Rover Sport SVR SUV but the 2017 model will keep the current look and feature.
